Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Beadora handles information when you use the Beadora iPhone and iPad app and related support pages.

Information We Collect

Beadora does not provide Beadora accounts, usernames, passwords, or server-side login sessions. The app stores your selected settings, recent photos, generated bead and diamond painting patterns, color counts, and project history on your device so you can reopen and export your craft projects.

Beadora uses the iOS photo picker so you can choose photos for pattern generation. The app receives only the photos you select. Photo-to-pattern processing is performed entirely on your device. Beadora does not upload or otherwise send your selected photos or generated projects anywhere.

If you use text-to-pattern generation, Beadora sends your text prompt, selected pattern settings, an app-specific random device identifier, App Attest integrity verification data, and limited Apple transaction information to Beadora's backend so the request can be verified, counted against the applicable Premium Plus quota or purchased Sakura Petal balance, and converted into a source image. Beadora processes, but does not store, the complete signed App Transaction used to verify purchases and associate a purchased Sakura Petal balance with the app. The source image is generated through OpenAI and is then converted into a bead or diamond painting pattern in the app, depending on the color palette you select.

When you visit Beadora support or privacy pages, our hosting providers may automatically receive basic technical request information such as IP address, user agent, request time, requested URL, and request headers. Beadora does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.

Apple Store Services

If you subscribe to Beadora Premium or buy Sakura Petals, purchases are processed by Apple. Beadora uses StoreKit to load products, complete purchases, restore purchases, and check subscription access. For text-to-pattern subscriptions, Beadora also uses Apple's App Store Server API to verify active access and enforce the included generation quota. For consumable Sakura Petal purchases, Beadora verifies the Apple-signed transaction and records the credited and used balance so duplicate transaction submissions cannot add credit twice. We do not receive your full payment card details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. Beadora uses Apple's signed App Transaction identity to associate a purchased Sakura Petal balance with the app.

Support Email

If you contact support, we receive the email address you use and the information you choose to include, such as device model, iOS version, app version, screenshots, and a description of the issue.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate Beadora, generate and save bead and diamond painting pattern projects on your device, provide subscription features, process text-to-pattern requests, enforce paid generation balances, respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising tracking. We use service providers for app distribution, purchase processing, website hosting, email support, and infrastructure. Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions and provides signed transaction data that Beadora verifies for feature access and purchased Sakura Petal balances. OpenAI processes text-to-pattern prompts and generates source images when you choose to use that feature. OpenAI does not receive photos you select for photo-to-pattern conversion. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect Beadora, users, or the public.

Local and Server Storage

Beadora stores project data, recent photo data, and subscription usage state on your device. The image-generation backend stores limited subscription-period usage records so Beadora can enforce included generation quotas. It also stores purchase transaction identifiers, product identifiers, purchase dates, credited Sakura Petals, and used balances to maintain the remaining purchased balance and prevent duplicate credit. It stores the app-specific random identifier, an App Attest public key, and integrity counters to verify that requests come from the genuine app and to prevent replay. It also stores a SHA-256 hash derived from the Apple App Transaction identifier to associate the purchased Sakura Petal wallet without storing the complete signed App Transaction. Local app data remains under your device controls. You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.

Retention

Local project and photo history remains on your device until you delete it or delete the app. AI image-generation quota records, Sakura Petal purchase and balance records, and operational logs are kept as needed to run the feature, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and satisfy legal or business requirements. Legacy free-offer redemption records may be retained as historical service records, but no free offer is currently available. App integrity key records are scheduled to expire after two years. Support emails are kept as needed to respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records. Hosting logs may be retained by our service providers according to their operational policies.

Your Choices

You can choose which photos to select in the iOS photo picker, decide whether to use text-to-pattern generation, manage or cancel Apple subscriptions through Apple, and delete the app to remove local Beadora data from your device. You may contact us with privacy questions or support requests.

Security

Beadora relies on iOS platform protections, StoreKit purchase handling, App Attest for eligible AI image-generation requests, HTTPS, and provider access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Beadora does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
